Inspired by Katharine Hepburn and her strong belief that boys have all the fun, we imagined Jimmy, her alter ego who decides to wear their pants, act and live as a man, to stand, talk, smoke, play games just like they do.

“I created Jimmy for the others. Inside I never felt like Jimmy.”

FASHION EDITOR: IRINA MARINESCU

Born, raised and based in Romania, Irina Marinescu started her career as a designer in her early years of study, creating a namesake label that has traveled around the world.
She debuted in cinema as a costume stylist and designer with a Berlin Film Festival awarded movie - Child’s Pose - and continued working as a commercial and movie stylist.
She is currently working as a designer and artisan under CapAurora, the younger sibling of Irina Marinescu, an Artisanal and Social brand, that loudly speaks about Irina’s loves, beliefs and human nature.
