Children have this world entirely theirs, made of dreams and limitless possibilities, made of stories that they believe in so much that they turn them into their own reality. A reality where only “some” fit or have the permission to enter.

An imaginary friend will be always welcome for a good talk over a cup of cocoa, a doll or a book will always have place under the sheets, but a pet will always be the best partner in crime. The one that follows them in their dreams, that shares the stolen biscuits from the jar, that get to look into their diaries.

We asked a a few toddlers and teens to be part of this shoot and tell us the secret of this so very special relationship they develop with their best friends.

FASHION EDITOR: IRINA MARINESCU

Born, raised and based in Romania, Irina Marinescu started her career as a designer in her early years of study, creating a namesake label that has traveled around the world.
She debuted in cinema as a costume stylist and designer with a Berlin Film Festival awarded movie - Child’s Pose - and continued working as a commercial and movie stylist.
She is currently working as a designer and artisan under CapAurora, the younger sibling of Irina Marinescu, an Artisanal and Social brand, that loudly speaks about Irina’s loves, beliefs and human nature.
